Executive Consulting for the Nonprofit Sector, Inc. is continually looking for the best-in-the-business professionals committed to a consulting career in the fields of interim management (as interim executive directors, resource development directors, or CFOs/controllers) or management consulting for the nonprofit sector.

Our affiliation process involves six steps:

(1) Submission of a portfolio of information about you, including a cover letter of interest, your resume of experience, education and accomplishments, a completed questionnaire, and list of client and/or employer references. Please contact Sunny Breed at sbreed@interimexecutive.org to receive the questionnaire and other information.

(2) Candidates for affiliation will be invited to a quarterly orientation meeting at our offices in Long Beach which will outline how Executive Consulting works and the responsibilities associated with affiliation with our firm.

(3) Upon satisfactory review of the preliminary materials, an informal meeting with one of our client service managers to learn more about your experience and your interest in affiliating with Executive Consulting.

(4) Candidates for affiliation who have a continued interest in our firm will meet for a final interview with a member of our executive staff.

(5) Upon successful satisfactory completion of the interview process, the candidate for affiliation will be considered for a consulting or interim executive position as a probationary candidate. The candidate will be invited to all meetings, training programs and social events of the firm during the probationary period.

(6) Upon favorable review of the performance in the consulting or interim position, a contract for formal affiliation will be issued.
